          Rudolf Gopas (né Hopp,[1] 13 December 1913 – 23 July 1983) was a New Zealand artist and art teacher.

          He was born in Šilutė, Germany (present day Lithuania).[2] Gopas' works are held in the collections of the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki,[3] the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa,[4]Christchurch Art Gallery[5] and the Hocken Library.[6]

          His second wife was the radio broadcaster Airini Nga Roimata Grennell.[2]
